Johannesburg, January 20 - High school students and parents attended an introductory briefing on undergraduate university study in the USA at the Consulate General

They were joined via Digital Video Conference by an attentive audience at the U.S. Embassy in Pretoria.

The Consulate's Public Affairs Officers provided basic information about what prospective students need to consider, from affordability and scholarship availabilities, to visa requirements, application time lines, testing and a sense of adventure.

Specialized follow-up group sessions, focusing on financial aid, college selection and the application process will be arranged for in-depth discussions and support.
