Cameron R. Hume
Cameron R. Hume was sworn in as Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa on November 19, 2001. He had Previously served as Ambassador to the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria from December 1997 to September 2000. He served as Special Adviser to the Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations from September 2000 to October 2001. Ambassador Hume departed from this post on July 28, 2004.
