Jendayi Frazer arrived in South Africa on August 3, 2004 and presented her credentials to President Mbeki on August 10, 2004.
Ambassador Frazer departed South Africa on August 26, 2005 to return to Washington where she serves as the Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, the top advisor to the Secretary of State on African issues.
